Johnny, tell me... what happens exactly? It's a normal 32bit texture. Nothing really special... I don't understand why the installation make your sistem crash... can you give me some more details? I also had this problem the first time. I think you need to select VC and 32 bit when using the Text-o-matic tool. Otherwise the sim will freeze.

Oh yes... of course those textures are 32Bit, no DXT3... I don't use
the VC variation.. and I tell you it works. So I suppose it works fine

Ok, I tried it again and this time it worked. I think the problem was trying to load it as DXT3. However, I have a question. What's with the extra wing bitmap I see it came with Scandinavian? Am I suppose to replace the one created with Text-o-Matic? ------------- Johnny Rosario |

I have been reading the Posts trying to decide on purchasing this model. I was especially checking the repaints, as if a PSA color scheme became available I would definently buy it. Well I could wait no longer so I bought the Super 80 anyways. Imangine my surprise when i found out that the origional download already contained a PSA Livery. Giorgio, how do you match the textures in the radome with the nose of the aircraft? I've had trouble aligning textures because the painting area for the radome is proportionally bigger than the part on the fuselage?? Thanks! |

Hey my friend... I just use windows or lines of the fuselage to make
aling the textures, especially on the botton and on the upper part of
the plane. For the nose.. I use the green marks as reference... in any
case you should try 2 or 3 times until you get the desired position...

I meant that when u paint something on the fuselage and copy it to the nose section it looks smaller in the sim.? I mean the equivalent area of the nose section in the nose paniting area is larger than the corresponding area in the fuselage. Complicated

Mi spiace contraddirti Gianluca ma il maddog Lago non è affatto un prodotto scadente come tu fai pensare. La fedele riproduzione dei sistemi e degli impianti è stata curata da un comandante MD80 Alitalia e da un tecnico della manutenzione Meridiana. Non ho ancora visto un prodotto in grado di eguagliare, suoni, paramentri e valori che il maddog riproduce egregiamente. Noto invece che il Super 80 Flight1, pur essendo un prodotto discreto e dalle notevoli potenzialità, presenta ancora delle enormi lacune. I sistemi non sono riprodotti fedelmente, la dinamica di volo è discreta in crociera e in approach ma pessima durante l'initial climb (Non c'è verso di fargli mantenere la V2+10 come dovrebbe). Infine maddog ha rilasciato patch, dopo la prima uscita, che hanno corretto diversi bachi presenti e implementato diverse funzioni. Una tra tante la possibilità di dimmare FMA, Annunciator Panel, Autopilota etc. chicche che nel Super 80 non sono presenti. Addirittura non sono animati gli switches dell'autopilot. Spero che Flight 1 rilasci presto patch che correggano errori piuttosto inaccettabili. Insomma prima di sparare a zero su un prodotto ed osannarne un'altro che invece di carenze ne presenta palesemente, vediamo di fare valutazioni con competenza tecnica riconosciuta

Gianluca... Sorry i didn't read you message... (SCUSA!!) Let's try talking in english so the people understand. My family is very near ATI as two of my uncles were flying for it some time ago... Hi Danilo, don't worry.. no needed to ranslate your post. I just asked to speaking in italian so the other users can read your oppinions. Feel free to say what you think it's wrong with the plane, by doing a search before so you don't "repeat" what the dev team has already said it's being corrected, or has already been corrected. All the team is working hard, and believe me that product will be improving as time time goes... remember it has been relesed a little more than one week ago now. No one has said nothing about your oppinions on other products, I just asked you to try avoiding comments about other dev teams and other products out of F1/CoolSky ones... ;-) This is not the pourpose of this forum... Hi Danilo, You have to unzip both of them in the Templates folder of textomatic. It should be on your FS9/Flight 1 Software/TextOMatic.
